The Black Eyed Peas
This week, the city is celebrating National Night Out with block parties all across town. Tuesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. residents will be hosting parties throughout American Canyon, open to all ages. The list of registered parties so far includes: The Lodge at Napa Junction, Alamo Court , Melvin Road, Las Casitas Mobile Home Park, Pelleria Drive and Via Marciana.
The City Council, members from the police staff and fire department, Mayor Pierre Washington, and more public workers will be joining the festivities as well.
There are three city meetings this week, the first is on Tuesday night at 5 p.m. where the City Council is meeting briefly before National Night Out.
On Wednesday at 5 p.m. there will be a fire board review at City Hall going over the annual fire service fee calculations for fiscal year 2025-2026.
And finally on Wednesday starting at 6:30 p.m., there will be a transportation meeting at City Hall going over the city’s bicycle-friendly designation.
Next week, the city will host its third and final summer Meet Me in the Street event on Wednesday, Aug.13. Food, vendors, music, entertainment, cool cars, and even cooler people are on the list of what not to miss.
